Bato Dugarzhapov
Born in 1966, in Durdulga village, the Chita region of Russia. Graduated the Surikov Moscow Art School and the Surikov Moscow State Art Institute, Monumental painting studio of E. N. Maksimov. Awarded of The Grand Prix of the “Renaissance XXI” Charity organization (1995) and A Grant of the “Cité d’Art” (1999). Member of the International Arts Foundation (1997), the Russian union of artists (1998) and the Moscow union of artists, Monumental division (2003).
As a permanent participant of regional, national and international exhibitions, the artist has held thirteen solo-shows and participated in seven monumental projects. The artist’s works are kept in the Chita Regional museum, in private collections in Russia, France, Great Britain, Italy, the Netherlands, USA, Japan, Yugoslavia, Denmark and China.
