In 2015, the United Nations announced the "2030 Sustainable Development Goals" to direct the world to work together towards sustainability. However, what is sustainability? Why are we talking about it? From whose point of view does the so-called sustainability come from? Over the past two hundred years, the three industrial revolutions in human history have brought about outstanding economic development and urbanization results. Through the use of machines and technology, humans have acquired resources at a speed that is like an unconscious turntable, spinning faster and faster. Industrial production has affected the natural ecology, and the drastic environmental changes brought about by climate change have challenged even basic human living conditions. We have lost our way. Being born in this world, in addition to obtaining the necessities for survival and developing life, should we give back to this world? We take so much and quickly, but give so little. This is also the fundamental reason why human beings around the world must strive to move towards sustainability...
Get to know the artist Wen Chih WANG Internationally renowned artist Wen Chih WANG has always taken "the relationship between man and nature" as the main theme of his creations. After studying in France and returning to Taiwan, he returned to his hometown to find his roots. In the soil of Meishan, he found the vocabulary to speak out to the world, and won numerous world awards and recognition from art events. This exhibition uses Taiwan's native rattan to weave a giant "Teng Yun Meng" installation work, allowing people to experience the five senses with bare feet, like traveling in the primeval forest of the soul. Artist Wang Wenzhi, who just won the "2024 World Bamboo Pioneer Award" in April this year, can be called the light of Taiwan. His outstanding contribution to world bamboo culture has been awarded by Susan, CEO of the World Bamboo Federation. Ms. Lucas’s high praise: “Wang Wenzhi is a true pioneer. He is an artist, architect and engineer all rolled into one. The structure of his works is completely innovative! He has the courage to practice traditional culture in novel and non-traditional ways. "If bamboo is regarded as a language of international communication... then Wen Chih WANG is a great poet. 』

Get to know the artist Gabrielle Yi-Wen MAR The works of American-based artist Gabrielle Yi-Wen MAR advocate personal physical and mental balance and dialogue, integrating emotional care and positive encouragement into paintings, soothing people's hearts through colors and lines, and promoting mental health. This year, she won the New York Academy of Art Scholars Scholarship and will begin studying for an art certification program at the academy in September. The initial point of Gabrielle Yi-Wen MAR's creation was to lead art therapy for her mother suffering from Parkinson's disease. As if translating her mother's strong willpower onto the canvas, the artist uses her brush to praise the glory of life and pray that he will develop strength and wisdom in the face of adversity. Choosing to emphasize the joy, peace and healing power of art, the artist sublimated the pain and reluctance of being ill into courage; every day of life is a miracle, and she expressed this mood through artistic methods and shared it with the world.

This period of time became a new source of inspiration for her creations, and the presence of natural elements and plants gradually integrated into her artistic creations. From the cracks in the city to the small flowers and plants that were discovered during the camping trip, and finally returned to my hometown to record the native flowers and plants of Ali Mountain. She started a project to collect plant illustrations and saved these plants into a book through 3D scanning. This project documents the plants’ struggle to survive in the city and nature.
